We are often asked if we are pet friendly. To this I say YES, However, there are some things to note:

Only Cabins 5 & 6 and the vacation rental homes, Main LodgeHome 8, LakeHome 10 and LogHome 11 are pet friendly year round. Additional cabins at the lake are pet friendly from the third week of August to the second Sunday of June. Or Jan 1 to mid-June and Mid August to Dec 31. Think about the school summer schedule. If school is in session, then we have more dogs, less kids. If school is on summer break, less dogs more kids.

• Pets are defined as domestic dogs and cats, though we have also welcomed a few birds.

• For the comfort and safety of our human guests: Early June-Late August, only Cabins 5, 6 and the vacation rental homes are pet friendly.

• Pets are never allowed in the sandy beach area between cabins 1 and 4

• Pets may enjoy lake access to the east of Cabin 4, at the brown h shaped dock.

• Pets must be on leash at all times when down at the lake and the public areas surrounding the resort cabins 1-7 and the basketball area. Pets may swim and boat without a leash, but you need to have them under voice command. We do not own the whole shoreline and some of our neighbors are sensitive that Cedaroma's visiting pets stay on Cedaroma property. 

• For the comfort of all guests please ensure that your pet does not disturb the stay or vacation experience of any other guests or neighbors. This includes barking and unwelcome approaches.

• The pet owner accepts full responsibility for and liability arising from the pet (including but not limited to: property damage to the resort or personal injury to guests, associates or 3rd party). If you yours is a muddy fun loving pet, we have throws for the furniture, just ask us.

• It is the responsibility of the pet owner to properly dispose of all litter and pet waste. We are glad to supply bags for you to clean up after your dog. We are not glad if we have to clean up after your dog. Please dispose of your doggie bags in the trash bin up the hill closest to the log sided garage.

We want to successfully have you bring your pet and enjoy Cedaroma with your family. It is important to respect the space of others and their vacation quality. Be polite and sensitive to your surroundings and fellow resort guests. Be certain that you and your pet are a good fit for a shared-space vacation such as a resort offers. If you and your pet are causing a disturbance, we can ask you to leave the resort with no refund. Choose wisely, you know your pet better than anyone.

Please do not surprise us by bringing an unannounced pet. Your pet may be refused access to the property. Responsible pet owners let us know ahead of time when traveling with a pet.

We reserve the right to not extend an invitation for your pet and perhaps your whole party to return to Cedaroma Lodge.
